It's looking good for the medieval maniacs (like me). George R.R. Martin's "A Dance With Dragons" comes out July 12th (he even has a countdown timer on his website). George's Fire & Ice, aka Game of Thrones series, starts in April on HBO. Camelot starts in April on Starz, and SyFy has the Merlin series going. Let's not forget the Tudors, and HBO's Pillars of the Earth.
Movies with the medieval twist released, or scheduled for release this year include "The Eagle", "Red Riding Hood", "Her Highness", and remakes of of "Conan the Barbarian" & "The Three Musketeers".
It's a sword-fest for historical/epic fantasy lovers. Hurry up Peter, and get the Hobbit movie finished!!
The best yet, is the real-life April 29th wedding of Prince William. I'll have the TV turned on that day until it's time to leave for work - and I'll switch it on there, too!
