Tyler's last ride

Our Chief Game Warden, Tyler Turnipseed retired in August and we held a bash to celebrate his big day. Here are a few pictures from the day.

Of course, Tyler is unique. He arrived on his faithful mule, Jasper. He takes Jasper on his hunting forays. Tyler was one of the wardens who patrolled on horse (or mule) back during his time in Winnemucca. How cool is that?

Tyler was greeted by flamingos and friends. What a sense of humor (there is a story behind the flamingos that Tyler would have to tell you in person).

The party included a cake and, of course, presents. Personnel from all divisions showed up to wish him well. There were even Wardens from surrounding states, which shows you the type of guy he is. Tyler was always supportive of Dispatch. Thank you for that.

We'll all miss his wit and wisdom. I have no doubt Tyler and Jasper will be roaming this hills, calling in the occasional poaching incident just to keep us on our toes.
