Okay, this is one of those rants I warned you about...
San Jose Sharks beat the Detroit Red Wings in game two of the NHL Western Conference semi-finals 2-1. The Sharks are 2-0 in the best of seven series and go back to Detroit for game 3 on Wed 5/4.
I loved the SJ fan, who at Friday's game wore a Red Wing's sweater with a full size shark costume devouring his body. A subtle hint that the Wings were going down? I'm sure at least one poor octopus will find its way to the ice on Wednesday night. I don't care, my optimism is runing high - Niemi is playing better each game, the defense is shutting down the WIngs offense, and our guys are getting the puck to the net. They just need to rattle Howard and score a few more goals while keeping out of the sin bin.
Ten more games, boys and the silver chalice is yours! Arthur didn't have to work harder to earn his. The loyal fans are wearing the teal, white & black. We'll be there for the parade.
