Today is Dexter's ninth birthday. My boy entered out lives five years ago, as an adoptee from the Nevada Humane Society. He is quite the character and a neighborhood favorite.

My BFF loves flowers and lounging in a lap. He will sit on the table and watch birds on YouTube. He is always waiting on the porch when I come home from work, He loves sleeping next to me at night. A typical cat, he accepts affection on his on terms when he wants it. I hope he is around for many years to come.
